Equity Training Inventory

YWHO Hub Networks have identified a need for a comprehensive list of equity trainings available within Canada. The goal of this resource is to:

  1. Consolidate external equity training opportunities to streamline access.
  2. Contribute to building capacity across YWHO to provide culturally appropriate, identity specific, and/or other specialized care for diverse youth.

You can use the filter to search for training by topic/primary population focus and cost.
Each training description has as much detail as can be found online, with a link to the website.

Disclaimer: This resource is not a formal endorsement of any of the listed trainings, but simply a compiled list of available trainings to streamline access for hubs. It is updated and reviewed annually by the Equity Team at the YWHO Provincial Office. It’s therefore possible that the information within this document becomes out of date between updates. It is your Hub’s responsibility to vet the trainings to ensure they align with your hub needs, budget constraints and values.

For more information, please contact YWHO.Equity [at] camh.ca (YWHO[dot]Equity[at]camh[dot]ca)

Participants will leave the session equipped with strategies that can be implemented immediately in their professional practice, along with further resources to support their continued learning. For: Psychologists, mental health nurses, counsellors, psychotherapists, social workers, personal support workers, palliative, and long-term care workers. Available in person and webinar.
