North Simcoe Youth Wellness Hub

Welcome to the North Simcoe Youth Wellness Hub!

We offer a wide range of services for youth age 12 to 25 and their families looking for mental health and substance use support, in addition to a range of other social services.

The goal is provide young people with the right care in the right place at the right time.

The NSYWH offers services both in-person and virtually, and works to ensure these services are easy to access with little to no wait times. The aim is to remove as many barriers for youth and their support systems as possible.

Located on the shores of beautiful Georgian Bay, our Hub is available to all youth who live in North Simcoe, including Midland, Penetanguishene, Tiny Township, Tay Township, Beausoleil Island, Christian Island, and the areas in between.

The North Simcoe Youth Wellness Hub offers a range of integrated youth services, from mental health and substance use support, to primary care, employment supports, peer support, housing support, and so much more.

The Youth Wellness Team includes a Care Coordinator, Mental Health and Substance Use Navigator, Youth Engagement Lead, Employment Specialist, Administration Assistant, and Nurse Practitioner. As a Hub, we are dedicated to ensuring that youth engagement is incorporated into all stages of program development and facilitation. The team has a variety of Youth Lead positions available to help ensure that youth voices are heard.

The North Simcoe Youth Wellness Hub recognizes the diversity of the community and strives to offer Indigenous Programming to support local Indigenous youth, and bilingual services to provide care to the Francophone community.

The Hub also offers 2SLGBTQIA+ services, support for youth with special needs, and a variety of workshops and cultural teachings to meet the needs of all youth. The North Simcoe Youth Wellness Hub has shown their commitment to the 2SLGBTQIA+ community through participation in training and implementation of safer practices, and we are proud to be identified and listed as a “Safer Space” through the Safer Spaces Program.

Those in the area may also see the outreach van driving around. This is an additional resource for the team to meet youth in-person and provide wellness, recreation, and clinical support.
